Students, parents, and faculty enjoyed an Enchanted Forest Book Fair last week. Scholastic delighted readers' imaginations with books about mythological creatures and magical adventures. The fair coincided with National School Lunch Week and saw a great parent turn-out! Today we remember the horrific attack of 9/11. Our students gathered around the flag pole this morning to remember the lives lost and the bravery of our fellow citizens. Mrs. Copp shared with us the details of the Freedom Flag and led us in a moment of silence and pledge of allegiance. Our students and faculty dressed in red, white, and blue to pay tribute. Two fifth grade students hoisted the flag to half mast in remberance. May we never forget.

Our students have begun another season of Girls On the Run! This wonderful program educates our 3rd-5th graders on health, fitness, attitude, teamwork, self-confidence, and social interactions. The girls have a lesson and activities each session and learn the proper way to stretch and have fun exercising. Go girls- keep moving forward!
