Temperance Elementary School would like to welcome our new principal, Mrs. Cindy Copp! Mrs. Copp comes to us from Amelon Elementary School where she served as the Asst. Principal for four years. Prior to her years in administration, Mrs. Copp was a classroom teacher and served as the Talented and Gifted program elementary teacher. She has been a dedicated educator in Amherst Country for 27 years! She has earned two masters from Lynchburg College and is also a National Board certified teacher.

Temperance Elementary School students in Mrs. Carter's classroom participate in a Virginia Studies learning activity. The students are focused on a lesson for the five geographical regions of Virginia.
